Beauty in Session: Makeup Magic (Volume 01 – Season 01 – Episode 01)

After YEARS of wanting to start a makeup YouTube channel, I’m finally here and there have been more times than I can count where I just got frustrated and walked away. These past few days have been rough, between trying to learn how to edit and getting everything organized, it almost pushed me to walk away once again. Thankfully, I’ve learned over the years not to just quit when things get hard, and just take a step back, clear my head, and readdress the task when I don’t have a bunch of negative energy noodling around in my head. I give endless amounts of respect and kudos to people who edit media for a living, because that is so intensely more difficult than I imagined it would be, and my video still isn’t even well-edited. Since I’m talking about editing now, I want to apologize for the lengthy video. No, I do not think I am in the league of movies, but I was getting so overwhelmed about trying to get the editing perfect, that I had to take a breath and remember that I’m only human and I’m going to make mistakes.

I have not had any professional training on editing, so I hope that you’ll all bear with me while I adjust through this learning process. Of course, I will diligently work on my editing skills so that way I can make the videos shorter, but I’m grateful for your understanding that I’m not going to get it right the first time, heck, probably not even the first ten times. What it really boils down to is how bad I want to get better at it and my gratitude for y’alls understaning and patience with me. Whew! Now that I got all that off my chest, allow me to introduce the 1^st in the Wake Up & Makeup series.
