My Thoughts:

Where has this product been all of my life?! I got this from my Glossybox subscription a while back and this tube is still going strong. Given, I only have around a quarter of the tube left, that still speaks volumes on how long this product lasts. I’ve tried this on different skin tones and types, whether light or dark, oily or dry, this product works for everyone. Given, the darker the complexion, the less it works because this is a very light color-corrector and concealing product, it still brightens up the under eyes.

There is another color option that I haven’t tried yet, but it might work better for darker complexions.

Packaging:                                                ★/5

I’m not a fan of the squeeze-tube. I feel like a little bottle with a pump would work way better to not only portion out product better, but to help those of use with hand and wrist pain. I’ve developed cysts in my wrists due to my professions, so having to use squeeze-tubes only aggravates the chronic pain I have from them. With the size being so compact, this tube is great for traveling, just remember the plastic bag this has to go in for TSA regulations, since this is a liquid.

It may be in a puncturable tube, but don’t let that fool you. The plastic (?) they used to enclose the product is pretty durable. I’ve brought it with me on many trips with all sorts of pokey things in my bags like coloring combs that have the points on the end, pens, and a bunch of other bag-mates and it not only hasn’t punctured, but the writing doesn’t fade or scratch off.

Performance/Wear:                               ★★★★★/5

The texture is thin enough to feel like a serum, but thick enough to look and perform like a cream. What I mean by that is that when apply this, it feels lightweight and thin, like a serum, so it blends out really easily due to its lack of viscosity and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything on my delicate eye area. The slight thickness that it has works to the benefit of actually doing some color-correcting and my under eyes don’t need reapplication due to dryness throughout the day. When I mention the color-correcting, I mean it covers if you haven’t had your full eight hours in the past couple of days, not when you have chronic sleep deprivation or heavy dark circles for some other reason. For the darker under eye folks, you’ll still need a color-correction and concealer, but this is a good base for that as well. Since it also has skincare benefits targeted in the formula, it works as a good base, no matter how you use it for your under eye, whether you use it as a base for a full face, or you prefer a minimal makeup look.

Another benefit is that it doesn’t create flashback in pictures. With that being said, it also depends what products you use to set it or layer over it. If you use a concealer or powder that is way too light for your skin tone, there will usually be flashback, regardless. But if you wear it as the only color corrector and don’t do any heavy contouring, then you should be in the clear for a bright, glowy look in all your pictures. When I work with my massage clients, I don’t like to wear a ton of makeup, so, I use this to prime, color correct, and conceal all in one step. Other days when I wanna do a full face, this is my go-to primer for my under eyes.

Since I only need a little dot of product every time I use this, this tube has lasted me for quite some time. At first, I was annoyed that their product costs so much for such a small amount of product, but after using it, I see why. If the company puts more in each tube, then the product would probably expire somehow and the colors or skincare ingredients will change and not work as effectively. On my minimal makeup days, I’ll even wear this on my eyelid area and just set it with some face powder, that way all my little veins in my eyelids vanish and I look younger. Last major benefit that I noticed is that it absorbs quickly into the skin, but it does crease if you use more than a thin layer. Despite its absorption speed, my eyes feel soft and moisturized all day, without needing to reapply.

Price:                                                          ★★★★★/5

After using it and seeing how little bit of product is needed for each application, I feel like the price point is fair. You get an amazing product that lasts quite some time and can be incorporated for different makeup lifestyles.
