My Thoughts:

Those who know me, know that I’m addicted to subscription boxes and this gem came into my life via my Glossybox subscription. Now, I may not have that subscription anymore, but there are a few things, like this product, that I enjoyed from my subscription and repurchase when I’m out. I am not really one for rollerball perfumes, but I’ll reconsider for this product. Essential oils are my jam, but I don’t care for the muskier oils out there. I tend to go for more of the floral and herbal scents when I purchase them, but I will purchase other ones when clients prefer to have certain oils as their add-on services.

Between the packaging and how delightful the oil blends smell, I am all for roll-on perfumes now. If you thoroughly check out a product’s packaging, sometimes, you can even refill an empty rollerball with a new scent or keep a travel version of your favorite scent on you at all times. What really piqued me interest is how they blend specific oils that activate/encourage certain chakras. There may be a fair share of people who read this and don’t believe in chakra energy, but I am a believer and I respect and admire that they geared their oil blends based on each chakra.

When it comes to perfumes, I tend to be quite picky about them. I want them to not be so powerful that people can smell me from down the hallway, but be potent enough to last throughout the day. Yes, I know that makes me a bit unreasonable, but bear with me. I want to be considerate to those who, like me, are prone to migraines that are easily triggered by strong smells, but I also don’t want to feel like I wasted money on a product that I feel like I have to keep re-applying because it has a short life span once it is out of the bottle.

Now, this does fade a but faster than I’d like it to, but it lingers well enough that I still get subtle hints of it when a breeze blows by or when I work out later in the day after I’ve been wearing this for a few hours. I love rolling in behind my ears and my inner wrists before a homework, yoga, or meditation session to help clear my mind and help me gently focus. This should go without saying, but I’ll say it just in case, this does not give the effect of an energy drink. This will not put a pep in your step and give you a jolt to get a bunch of errands done, but this will give you a gentle sense of clarity to help focus due to the chemical reaction in your brain that the scents trigger when smelled.

I was never a fan of travel-sized versions of perfumes because the few times I tried, they all ended up spilling in my bag and ruining products that were cohabitants of my bag. After wasting so much money, I figured it was easier to deal with perfumes that fade before my day was done than to keep throwing out products that had perfume leaked on them. On its own, I probably wouldn’t trust this glass tube, but with the secure and cute packaging, I don’t ever worry about opening my bag and finding it everywhere. Not only is the outside décor and lettering chic and fun, but it also gives a feeling of security and sturdiness because the sleeve doesn’t easily slide off and there’s sufficient padding that there’s no rattling around inside it.

Another cute detail I liked that they added was the affirmation to create intention with the application of this product along with the chakra alignment with the targeted chakra highlighted. The purple-haired goddess on the outside gives me major mermaid vibes every time I see it and adds to the joy I feel when wearing this. It may sound cheesy, but I think everyone deserves to feel like the goddesses on these products every time they use these wonderful perfumes. This is also packaged so I can refill this with any perfume I choose, but I really just wish they sold this product in a bigger bottle so I can refill it as it runs out without having to buy a new rollerball each time it gets empty.

I’m not the biggest fan on such a small amount of product costing so much, but for all its benefits and considering one bottle lasts me almost a year, I’d say it’s worth the price. The packaging keeps it safe and the rollerball makes it easy to apply wherever I am without creating a cloud of perfume.
