My Thoughts:

This is the second makeup product from MeMeMe from my Glossybox subscription and to see the the brand’s name had me excited to try this. My last experience with this company was with their lipstick and I absolutely adored the formula but wasn’t excited about the packaging. The smell is quite gross, and it takes quite some time to dissipate so I would heed caution for those who have migraines or headaches easily triggered by certain smells.

The size Glossybox sent me was pretty close to their full-size, but not quite. There is still quite a bit of product in it that will last me quite some time and since I haven’t used many liquid luminizers, I was excited to see the many ways I can use this.

Packaging:                                                ★★★★/5

I was intrigued to see this come in a bottle, but to my disappointment, the cap just slips off and I have to twist the smaller cap inside the larger one that’s a bit rough on my hands when I twist it. When I opened it, I was also disappointed to see the applicator was a nail polish brush which isn’t the best applicator in my opinion because it’s not sanitary to dab it on my skin and pick up whatever bacteria or product was already on my face and put that back into the bottle.

The clear bottle is a nice factor, though, because it helps save me time by being able to pick out the color I want easier without having to open a bunch of products in search of the color I’m intending to use.

Performance/Wear:                               ★★★/5

The smell may not be the best, but the wear is better by far. Whether applied by fingers or by my beautyblender, this works well, but does blend easier and quicker with my beautyblender. This has the potential to be a versatile product, but due to the intense smell, it burns when I add it to any lip color. Since I prefer to wear lighter looks with CC creams or BB creams, this works well for those looks, but for more full-coverage, glammed looks, this doesn’t really show up once I use powder to set my foundation. This doesn’t wear well over powder and causes the foundation and powder to break up.

It doesn’t enhance signs of dryness, but it does enhance the size of my pores, which isn’t a fair trade-off for me. On the up side, it doesn’t settle into the fine lines on my face, nor does it feel like it moisturizes in any way. When mixed with a lip product, this transfers, but on my face, it sits just fine. This pinkish ivory color works well on every complexion of any age, given that they don’t have enlarged pores. Luckily, the formula doesn’t oxidize so I don’t have to worry about it changing color during the wear time.

Overall, this seems too fickle of a product to include in my it permanent kit, but I’ll use it up until it’s empty, but I won’t repurchase it for myself.

For how much product you get, the price seems worth it, but I can’t justify repurchasing it unless they make a more reliable formula.
