-Apply one to three dots on the ball of the cheeks and gently pat while blending in a lifting, upward motion towards the hairline.
-Can be mixed with No Bronzer Bronzer to customize color.

My Thoughts:

I really enjoyed this product once I got the hang of using it. I received this in the makeup vault filled with everything needed for the perfect ‘no-makeup’ look. These were the first products I had used that were meant for a no makeup look without building up or setting with powder so it took me awhile to get used to. I’m not a fan of the quick expiration date that comes up shortly after I got this, but it is what it is. The smell also goes on the negative side of this review because it adds to the fishy smell of all the products in this line. Although the blush only comes in one color, this one works on pretty much every complexion, except for the dark complexions because this isn’t pigmented enough. I would like to see the company come out with a few more shades that would work on various shades to give people more options to what they would feel more comfortable wearing. It doesn’t work with adding the bronzer to it like they suggest, but it is what it is. It does separate when I don’t touch it for a few days, but nothing a good shake doesn’t fix.

Performance/Wear:                          ★/5

This is true to its name when it claims to have pigment, but remain looking like it’s a natural flush. It is very sheer, so it doesn’t seem to show up on the few friends I have with dark skin that I asked to try this on to test out the pigment intensity. The color is a flattering peachy color that I think looks good on me, but it isn’t buildable so if that’s something you’re hoping for with this, you’re better off with the Universal Beauty cream blush that has way more pigment and can build up to desired intensity. The color lasts all day without breaking down, fading, or becoming blotchy. I don’t like to use the wand to apply because I feel like I’m putting my skin cells into the bottle and spreading cross contamination and that just grosses me out. I would’ve preferred if the company had packaged this with a tear-dropper like they do with most of the other products in their makeup line.

Price:                                                   ★/5

Initially, the small bottle seemed a bit of a rip-off for how much it costs, but after using it for quite some time, I can see why it is priced how it is. I only need 2-3 dots on each cheek for each application so this product lasts me quite some time. I did sport the ‘no-makeup’ look for a few months straight last year because it is more appropriate when working on my massage clients. Even doing that, I barely made a dent in the quantity of the product and I know I’ll have this even though it’s passed its best buy date, I’ll just no longer use it on clients. For me, I’m a conspiracy theorist (a sensible one, not the one who believes in lizard people) and I believe that most expiration dates are a marketing scheme in order to scare consumers into replacing product sooner.

Packaging:                                          ★/5

I’m not a fan of the wand because it isn’t sanitary to use it on multiple clients, so instead I have to wipe off product onto my metal palette and apply it from that because if not, I’m just cross contaminating. This does work with other brand formulas, unlike the serum and foundation in this line, but I don’t really use it for that since the whole point behind it is to look like we’re not wearing any makeup. The small size of the bottle and how thick the glass is makes it perfect for traveling because it takes up less space than most of my other blushes and isn’t easily broken when impacted. It seems like the bottle is able to be repurposed, but I would have to remove the plug inside to be able to refill it.
