What it is:
An amazing preservative-free foundation primer that’s great for all skin types.
What it does:
Developed to combat flaky dryness, rough patches, fine lines, excess oil, enlarged pores, and uneven texture, this mineral-infused, satin-finish formula glides on seamlessly with no tacky feel to provide a skin-smoothing complexion before you apply foundation. For added age-defying power, it is infused with soothing plant extracts, antioxidants, and nourishing vitamins C and E.
For best results, shake the bottle well before each use. A little goes a long way with this powerful foundation primer.
Apply one pump to your fingertips and spread the lightweight primer all over your face and neck in an even layer with sweeping upward motions. Allow the face primer to absorb into your skin before applying foundation.
Just the feeling of this product when I dispensed it into my hands made me want to puke. It is so greasy and gross, I hesitated and dreaded putting it on my skin, but did it anyways in hopes that it wouldn’t be bad for my skin like I expected it to be. On the plus side, I didn’t need much product for each application and I didn’t have a negative (allergic) reaction, but everything else about it was terrible. Another benefit is that it doesn’t have a scent to it. That is one thing that I find an issue with some products that I really love, and they’ll work amazing, but I can’t tolerate the smell. This product that does exactly the opposite the intention of the purpose of a primer.
Performance/Wear: ★ /5
Aside from its gross texture, there was not much success in its wear-ability. My makeup became blotchy, regardless which foundation formula I used, and unprofessional during the day which I ended up just wiping it off with a makeup remover wipe and going bare-faced for the rest of the day. I would much rather have no makeup on and look like a zombie than look like my makeup is migrating into different continents. On top of that, the primer didn’t work with my skincare products either. When I first applied it to my face, it seemed to adhere to my moisturizer and crumble off as I tried rubbing in the product. It may not cause an allergic reaction to my face, but it does feel like it suffocates my skin and break out a bit. For those who have had good results also benefit that it’s clear and works with any complexion.
Not worth it by any means. I can’t justify spending any money on something that not only doesn’t work, but does the exact opposite of its purpose.
Awful. I am not a fan of squeeze tubes because I have pretty bad hand and wrist pain and having to strain my flexors and extensors only worsens the pain. Then again, the product was so awful that even if they did put the product in a bottle with a pump, it still wouldn’t change my opinion on it for the better.
