Emité Make Up – Millesis® Active Eye Light (Shade 101)

Online Description:

Millesis® Active Eye Light effectively reduces the signs of aging and helps to minimize the appearance of dark circles. Millesis® premium formula strengthens the skin and at the same time works as a color corrector which will help to achieve a luminous and healthy appearance.

MILLESIS®

The unique and innovative ingredient Millesis® strengthens the skin barrier and its resistance. It stimulates the skins own collagen production and lightens the area around

the eyes. The combination of rice-rose oil, together with arnica-extract, activates the circulation and gives a calming and antioxidant effect

APPLICATION:

Apply with a brush in the area under the eye.

My Thoughts:

Where has this product been all of my life?! I love that it has targeted skincare benefits in it, and I don’t have to feel bad about putting weight on my delicate eye area. The color is pigmented enough to correct pesky dark circles under my eyes, but not so heavy that it creates creases or flashback in pictures. This is all I use on the days that I wear minimal makeup (i.e. the days I have massage clients) to conquer priming, correcting, and concealing all in one! For those days that I want a fuller coverage, this works well as a base to prime my eyes and give whatever concealer I use a little oomph and works well to prevent under eye creases. I only need the smallest dot to cover each under eye area which results in this product lasting longer than competitor ones. On days I wear minimal makeup, I’ll use this on my entire eye area, then use powder foundation to set it and voila! I’m so glad Glossybox sent this in a full size and I have yet to be disappointed by Emité’s makeup products. This works best when I let it absorb into my skin before I apply any other product over it that way the color and skincare benefits can effectively absorb so they can get to work while I finish applying my makeup. If I just wear a thin layer, this can even be worn alone and look fine. This is a perfect product for everyone from the makeup minimalist, beginners, or those who go full glam every day. My only problem is that it comes in a tube, which isn’t convenient for those of us with hand and wrist pain and that it isn’t carried at Sephora. I feel like a brand with this amazing quality without breaking the bank should be supplied at Sephora. The 101 shade is the perfect light yellow to counteract the purple in dark circles without looking like a hazard light.
