Dolce&Gabbana – The Eyeshadow Quad (Eden – 157)

Online Description:

What it is:
An eye shadow palette with four shades that range from subtle to vivid for subversive contrast.

What it does:
True to Dolce & Gabbana form, this eye shadow quad features captivating textures and shades that range from matte and metallic to satin and pearl. Plush matte hues provide pure, buildable color that’s perfect for creating a translucent wash on the lid or dense color for a smoky effect. The metallic shades, in gleaming golds, showcase the eyes with depth and intensity.

My Thoughts:

This palette has the perfect color variation for spring time. The colors feel so good on my eyelid which leads to an easy blended result. When you purchase high end products after using drug store ones, you being to notice how much smoother they feel on your skin and this palette really makes the difference. With my skin not only dry, but sensitive as well, I don’t feel like I have to work to achieve a light, airy look with this palette. The colors are soft and subtle when applied dry and of course pick up more vibrancy when applied wet. I didn’t experience any fallout when applying nor did too much product come off on the brush when I went to pick off product with it. This is one of the products I got from a goody bag that someone bought from working at Saks Fifth Avenue. All in all, this is a good product, nice setup, and sensitive skin approved. D&G does not sell single shadows to restock if you run out of one color before the others.
